Going down a rabbit hole with this whimsical, fabulous and fun midcentury glazed ceramic lamp featuring an upright seated white rabbit with hand-painted eyes, ears, whiskers and paws set into a custom carved wood base with original brass telescope rod. Base is signed "C. E. A. R. G."
Professionally restored with new wiring and clear silver cord. Holds one standard 60W-max incandescent bulb or higher if using LED.
Original custom creamy white and blush pink silk-trimmed lamp shade, harp and white wood ball finial are included. Lamp is in very good vintage condition with light patina and a pre-drilled hole at the base of the rabbit's cheek, pictured. Could this have possibly held a carrot?? Shade is in fair vintage condition with stains, marks and interior tears. It is just darling on the lamp even with the wear from age.
