Totally fabulous, fun and rare 1950s Hollywood Regency Barbie core figural planter lamp featuring a hand painted porcelain female figurine in dancing mode set into a pierced gold tone footed lamp base with inset Raku style pink and black planter basins filled with the original plastic flowers and vines. Figurine is signed but unsure of maker.
Professionally restored and newly rewired with new socket for one standard bulb. Original, outstanding ruffle-trimmed fabric shade, harp and shell flower finial are included.
In very good restored vintage condition with some wear to the interior of the shade and a small split seam on the bow, pictured; figurine has edge chips pictured.
Figurine and flowers are removable and positionable or you may wish to put live plants inside the basins. Shade is also positionable and the bow may be tied differently as well. This is a big beautiful statement lamp sure to spark conversation in any space. And the shade makes it!
